In 2022 to assist players requiring First Aid attention at SOP Sydney Hockey have contracted the
SaveLife Fire & Medical company to provide 1st Aid assistance at SOP Pitch 1 & 2
- A qualified 1st Aid Medic will be present at SOP for all Sydney Hockey bookings. This Medic will provide service to both pitches
- The medics serving Sydney Hockey bookings will have as a minimum, qualifications for:
- Advanced First Aid
- Advanced Resuscitation
- CPR
- Pain Management (Green Whistle)
- On each pitch at the TO desk their will be a laminated sign with contact details (see attached) By ringing the dedicated mobile number the Medic will attend
- The Medic will be located in the first aid room on Pitch 1 but will be promptly available to attend to the P2 pitch.
- Please note, the Medic is for medical assistance NOT Strapping or physio
Should further assistance by Ambulance be required the arrangements are as before, by contacting Quaycentre from the phone on each TO desk, who in turn arrange entry to pitches.
